= f'[g(x)]∙\(\frac{d}{d x}\)[g(x)]
= f'[g(x)∙[g'(x)]
∴ r'(2) = f'[g(2)]∙g'(2)

= cos2x × 2 – 2cosx
= 2 (2 cos2x – 1) – 2 cosx
= 4 cos2x – 2 – 2 cos x
= 4 cos2x – 2 cos x – 2
If \(\frac{d y}{d x}\) = 0, then 4 cos2x – 2 cos x – 2 = 0
∴ 4cos2x – 4cosx + 2cosx – 2 = 0
∴ 4 cosx (cosx – 1) + 2 (cosx – 1) = 0
∴ (cosx – 1)(4cosx + 2) = 0

f[g(x)] = e2x + 6ex + 14
g[f(x)] = ex2 + 5 + 3
f'(x) = 2x, g’f(x) = ex
The derivative of f[g(x)] w.r.t. x in terms of and g is f'[g(x)]∙g'(x).
