Introduction

Note-making is a process of recording important information or facts that one has read, so that it can aid in quick recollection at a later time.

A Notice is a printed or written form of communication to announce an event so that suitable preparations can be made for it.

In schools, notices are prepared to announce competitions, PTA meetings, change in timings, fee payment details, supply of stationery, examinations schedules, etc.

A Notice must contain the following details:

  2. Date of issue of the notice
  3. Name of the event
  4. Date / Time / Duration /Venue
  5. Name and signature of the authority that issues the notice

A Fact file is a collection of information about a subject, event or a person.

The fact file of a person must comprise the following details:

  5. Greatest achievement to date
  6. Major strengths

आपण वाचलेल्या महत्त्वाच्या माहितीची नोंद करण्याची प्रक्रिया म्हणजेच ‘Note-making’. यामुळे भविष्यात त्या माहितीचे पुनरावलोकन (स्मरण) करणे सोपे जाते.

एखादया कार्यक्रमाची घोषणा करणारा लिखित किंवा छापील स्वरूपातील संदेश म्हणजे ‘सूचना’ होय. सूचनेमुळे कार्यक्रमाकरता योग्य तयारी करणे सोपे जाते. शाळेमध्ये होणाऱ्या स्पर्धा, शिक्षक-पालकसभा, शालेय फी संदर्भातील माहिती, वेळांमधील बदल, शालेय साहित्याचा पुरवठा, परीक्षेचे वेळापत्रक इत्यादींसंदर्भात माहिती देण्यासाठी लिखित स्वरूपात सूचना तयार केल्या जातात.

सूचनेमध्ये खालील बाबींचा समावेश असणे आवश्यक आहे:
