Subject: Frequent power-cuts in our locality
Respected Sir/Madam,
This letter is in regard to the frequent power-cuts in our locality at Pant Nagar, which has been causing great inconvenience to the residents. Our locality is quite new and it has just been a year since we received the electric connection. It seems that the junior engineers in charge of the sub-station have not properly checked the installations. Despite new fittings and wires, the supply of electric current is cut off for three-four hours or more at times.
The summer season has also begun and the unpredictability of the power supply is disrupting the daily routine of everyone in our zone.
I, therefore, request you to kindly ensure that the electricity installations and wiring in the area are thoroughly checked so that the instances of power-cuts arc reduced.
Yours faithfully,
Parag Shah

I keep exploring it and have already discovered a dozen new places. Amongst all the gifts I received on my birthday, yours is the finest and the most thoughtful one. I will cherish it, not simply as a present but as a token of our friendship.
Hope to see you soon. Do convey my regards to your parents.
