No one can….. the wind goes. या ओळी ए. ए. मिलने त्यांच्या ‘A wind on the Hill’ यां कवितेतून घेतल्या आहेत. वाऱ्याच्या अनाकलनीय, गूढ आणि रहस्यमय उगमाबद्दल कवीला आश्चर्य वाटते. कवी म्हणतो, “वारा कोठून येतो आणि कोठे जातो हे कोणालाही ठाऊक नाही. ”

Rise, brothers, rise ……. cried all night. या ओळी सरोजिनी नायडू यांच्या ‘The Coromadel Fisher’ या कवितेतून घेतल्या आहेत. कवयित्रीने रात्रभर रडून पहाटे आईच्या कुशीत झोपून जाणाऱ्या बाळाशी वाऱ्याची तुलना केली आहे. बाळाप्रमाणेच रात्रभर वाहून वारा सौम्य होतो आणि पहाटेच्या कुशीत झोपून जातो.
You…throw….back again. या ओळी विल्यम बेक यांनी लिहिल्या आहेत. यामध्ये लेखक वाऱ्याच्या अजिंक्य शक्तिबद्दल बोलत आहे. वारा आपल्या मार्गामध्ये कोणालाही उभे राहू देत नाही. आपण त्याच्यासमोर वाळू फेकली, तर ती पुन्हा मागे ढकलून आपल्या मार्गावरून झटकून टाकतो.
